What will you do as a Front-end Developer at De Jongens?
As a Front-end Developer, you are the driving force behind our digital experiences. You translate wireframes and high-end designs into lightning-fast, accessible and scalable solutions. You guard the quality of the front-end and ensure that every interaction feels seamless to the end user.
Your responsibilities
After the daily stand-up, you dive into the sprint together with strategists, designers and back-end developers. You build interactive web applications that are technically flawless. With your creative input and eye for detail, you take our projects to the next level.
Our foundation is our own CMS MakeItLive (Symfony/Laravel-based), but we also develop in WordPress, Webflow and Shopify when a project requires it.
You build high-quality interfaces using Twig, JavaScript and Swup. For that extra “wow factor” and a smooth user experience, you use technologies such as ThreeJS and Lenis Scroll.
You write clean, maintainable code (HTML / CSS / JavaScript) and work carefully with Git for version control and team quality assurance.
You continuously optimize for speed, scalability and digital accessibility.
You advise on the best front-end architecture and keep up with the latest developments in web technology.
Your code is clean and efficient, forming the foundation for high-end animations that not only impress, but are also smooth and future-proof.
